Potential withdrawal of the block on the generation of E-Way Bills without an e-Invoice or IRN

Our last blog on India mentions the new mandatory requirement of providing e-invoice details on the corresponding e-waybills, effective from March 2024.

However, the original advisory issued on 5^th Jan 2024 has now been withdrawn according to the latest update on the GST E-waybill website. New date is not provided yet.
